SNCM_021 2014-Jun-20 production long/small LSM all good GOOD Particles could not be removed from copper cathode ring of cell 07 during cleaning. Ground wire broken on cell 15 (not harness). Not sure when this occurred. Cassette not installed.

Update 19/8/14 : Julian successfully replaced the broken wire. There were 4 or 5 breakages of the internal cable harness connections to the cells that will need to be fixed. Also there is still some stubborn contamination on the end-caps that we will need to see if we can remove prior to insertion. If these problems can be solved, then this cassette can be installed.

SNCM_038 2014-Oct-29 production long/small LSM all ok. Re-configured to the special rotated C0 cassette. GOOD Two bits of fluff removed from the wires. Tricky to install, as limited access and the corner of the bottom two cells had not been chamfered. 30/04/15 14/05/15 C1-057/058
SNCM_039 2014-Nov-05 production short/big LSM ok GOOD No particles found on wires. One anode wire broken at anode end (cell 0). (Repaired 14/5/15.) A two part delrin clamp pin was found inside the cassette and removed. It had not been used on the cells, as the two parts were not pushed together. It had most likely fallen off the wiring robot and bounced into the cassette whilst at Manchester. 03/12/14 12/03/15 C1-059/060
SNCM_040 2014-Nov-11 production long/small LSM ok GOOD Nothing on the wires. Some particles found inside the cassette. All removed. 03/12/14 12/03/15 C1-067/068

SNCM_047 2015-Jan-15 production long/small LSM short plateau on cell01 GOOD Tracker cathode wire broken half way down stack (anode end) during cell insertion. Tracker wire cut off at both ends and removed to stop it wrapping around the other tracker wires. Decided at tracker meeting on 14/4/15 to leave cassette in C1 and not replace missing wire. 11/02/15 16/03/15 C1-075/076
SNCM_048 2015-Jan-27 production short/big LSM repair on HV bar cell03; self-triggering point in cell05 GOOD Cleanliness ok. One speck of dust found on wire, which was removed. However the harness was very untidy. (1) At the anode end, two of the cathode wires were not tied into the bundle which makes them vunerable to damage. (2) The two cathode bundles at the anode end were threaded through eachother, before entering the two connectors, and could not be separated. (3) The wires, which go to the cathode bus bars on cells 8 and 17 were bent downwards, instead of upwards, and would have touched the inside of the lower gas seal plate and ultimately the source foil, when C1 was installed at the LSM. These connections have therefore been pushed back up. 11/02/15 13/03/15 C1-069/070

(MJC 28/9/15) Three specks were removed from the wires. However, the cathode wire on cell 0(cathode end) broke on the crimp(not in the usual place)and will be difficult to repair in the confined space (MJC 13/11/15) 06/08/15 & redelivered on 05/11/15 13/11/15 C2-026/027

Could not remove all debris on wire and had to use tweezers to get debris of copper ring. Cathode wire broke on cell 15 and has been cut and removed. Also broken cathode pin (anode end)on female connector. 06/08/15 22/09/15 C2-050/051

SNCM_075 2015-Jul-30 production short/big MSSL all ok GOOD Another field wire broke and had to be cut out. It is thought this was, most likely, caused by another kink in the wire, although this cannot be confirmed. 24/09/15 01/10/15 C2-042/043
SNCM_076 2015-Aug-05 production long/small MSSL plasma block in cell 2 GOOD A squashed delrin clamp pin was found inside two of the copper rings. Both were removed. The heatshrink around one of the cathode crimp pins has slid along the wire and no longer covers the crimp pin. There is also a bad kink in the harness, near the feedthrough end, and the delrin coating has become thin and transparent. It will need to be cut out and the harness repaired. 24/09/15 23/10/15 C2-036/037
